The Großer Saal was sold out twice and attracted over 3,000 visitors in the target age range of 15 – 35 years from all over Germany and Europe. The magnet that drew in this audience was “Spielemusiken” (game music), live music by Japanese composers from “Final Fantasy” played by the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra.
Rock legends PROCOL HARUM are doing the honours - at the cross over event in the Historische Stadthalle. Together with the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, a choir and dancers the joint ensemble of around 140 artists will give two concerts. Unfortunately, they are both already sold out. But there are many more fantastic events waiting in the wings.

On 5–6 March 2013, leading scientists from around the world gathered at the Earth Explorer User Consultation Meeting in Graz, Austria, to discuss which one of three mission concepts should be built as ESA's seventh Earth Explorer. The meeting provided the opportunity for the scientific community to listen to presentations on each candidate mission and debate the merits of each in terms of technical viability and value to science. The three missions discussed are called Biomass, CoReH2O and Premier.
