Dear Colleagues,

With spring well underway it is my pleasure to report on a most successful HCCE Annual General Meeting and look forward to IMEX 2014 in Frankfurt.

From the 24th to the 27th of April 2014 HCCE Members met in Luxembourg at the prestigious and extraordinary Neumunster Abbey. With cutting edge technology, the professional team managed the AGA creating a unique ambiance and an unforgettable experience. Members learned more about the application and opportunities when subjecting their events to ROI strategies and methodologies. The ROI presentation made by Nett Thines of Mediation SA was closely followed by a B2B walking lunch around the Abbey cloister. Members and over sixty invited clients had the opportunity to discuss projects and specifications in a truly unique environment. This forum gave an exchange of knowledge to problems shared in our industry, and provided the foundation on which to build long term business relationships.

During May HCCE will be present at IMEX 2104 in Frankfurt from the 20th to the 22nd on stand G170. In particular HCCE are pleased to welcome to their stand clients joining the guided tour organised by the MICE Club and the German Convention Bureau in conjunction with IMEX to discuss sustainability. Visitors will hear HCCE’s commitment to the Right and Fair Code as sustainability becomes an important quality characteristic of destinations, meeting and convention venues. But where is the boundary between" green thinking "and" green washing "? Raymond Horper Director of Neumunster Abbey will explain the practicalities and application of best practice to conferences and events.
