    Conferences do not need to be serious affairs as proved this weekend by the Mediterranean Conference Centre, HCCE’s unique event venue on the Island of Malta. Hosting the Malta Comic Con (MCC), fun, action and costumes were the order of the day.

    Digital Assembly 2017 in Valletta: "Digital Europe: Investing in the Future"

    The 2017 edition of the Digital Assembly hosted by the Maltese Presidency of the European Union was held on the 15 and 16 June at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

    This important event, themed as “Digital Europe: Investing in the Future”, gave the opportunity to European stakeholders to share their views, discuss their ideas and consider how Europe and the rest of the world are preparing for the digital transformation. It was also the perfect setting to celebrate the end of roaming charges in all the European countries.

    200 guests at MCC for the Ship Design Software Conference

    Around 200 shipbuilding and process design professionals travelled to Malta between the 21st and the 23rd May for a Netherlands-based ship design software annual users' meeting at the Mediterranean Conference Centre.

    Numeriek Centrum Groningen develops and markets Nupas-Cadmatic 3D ship design and plant design software. At the Malta meeting, the company showcased the new features of the latest software and participants joined workshops and presentations on how the software has been applied in various organisations. Participants represented 65 companies from 20 countries.
